XCEL 500BT combines sophisticated sound processing, intuitive menu navigation, and rich electronic control features with an intelligent, forward-thinking approach to design and ergonomics that delivers a hearing protection and enhancement system without precedent in the shooting sports and hunting industries.

The XCEL 500BT’s next-generation Sound-Activated Compression and variable Dynamic Sound Suppression automatically adjusts compression time according to noise level intensity and duration instead of using conventional “fixed-time” compression. The result is improved hearing protection regardless of the sound environment. Additionally, the XCEL 500BT allows the wearer to select between four different listening modes: Universal (for sound amplification), Speech Clarity (for discriminating voices and enhancing verbal communication in a noisy environment), High Frequency (tuned specifically to hear steel target impact at long distances), and Power Boost.
